Garcelle Beauvais confirmed that she will be returning for Season 11 of Bravo’s hit reality TV show, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
“I am returning to the Housewives, yes,” Beauvais confirms in a video chat with ET. “You know, you gotta be a little, a little brave. A little scared. A little ready. I mean, it’s all those things, and I say it with a laugh because I’m ready, but you’re never really ready.”
Sophomore seasons on Housewives can be particularly scary, and The Jamie Foxx Show star admits that she’s a little nervous about the upcoming season. The most recent season saw the longtime friendship between Denise Richards and Lisa Rinna come to an end, according to ET Online.
“That’s what I’m afraid of,” Beauvais admits. “So, here we go, you know? And I sorta got a warning from Ms. Rinna, so we’ll see. I’m ready though, bring it.”
Beauvais’s buddy on the show, Denise Richards, will not be returning for the upcoming season. Rumors circulated that she hooked up with former Housewife Brandi Glanville, which Richards denied. She announced her exit from the show before the season even finished airing, according to ET Online.
“I’m sad about it. I really wish she wouldn’t leave the franchise. I think she’s great. I think she brings a lot. I think the fans obviously love her and root for her, so I’m really sad about it,” she says of her friend leaving. “I wish there was something that could have been done. I’m going to miss her, obviously. I’m going to miss her on the platform, but we always talk.”
Aside from being a Houswife, Beauvais also started her own podcast called Going to Bed with Garcelle and has joined the ladies of The Real as a co-host.
