Christian “King” Combs showed out at the wrong time, and Gene Deal wasn’t feeling it.
The former bodyguard didn’t hold back in a recent interview with The Art of Dialogue, where he called out King Combs for acting wild outside the courthouse right after Diddy was found guilty.
According to Deal, Christian was shirtless, doing push-ups, and clowning around for the cameras like it was a party.
“That was clown behavior,” Deal said. He made it clear that playing tough for the media might backfire. “Outside the court, the judge might give him extra time for these antics.”
Diddy’s legal troubles are no joke. Even though the more serious charges were dropped, he was still convicted of transporting women for prostitution, which guarantees time behind bars. Deal said moments like this aren’t the time for showboating, especially with sentencing around the corner.
Christian’s energy didn’t sit right with Deal, who questioned the mindset behind the performance.
“You ain’t no gangster. You don’t know what a gangster is. You’re a prankster,” he said, adding that Christian seemed out of touch with what his father is really up against.
Diddy is still being held after a judge shut down his bail request on July 2. He won’t be walking free before sentencing, which is set for October 2. Whatever time he gets, he’s expected to serve at least 85 percent of it.
Deal also hinted that Christian might feel untouchable because of his father’s wealth, but he warned that confidence could come crashing down once reality sets in.
