The Coronavirus pandemic created an awkward reality for teens looking to make money on their own. However, being quarantined provides the perfect opportunity for anyone to master making money online. Several entrepreneurial ventures require minimum work compared to a traditional 9-5. Here are some popular ways to make money if you’re under 18.

1. E-commerce

There are two ways to start your own E-commerce business. You can design your products, or you can drop-ship products. Dropshipping products will be the most straightforward and cheapest option. This method requires low maintenance because you are not required to hold physical merchandise.

For example, wholesale vendor sites like Alibaba sell low priced. Items. Let’s say you find a pair of headphones for $0.25 with $5.00 for shipping. The total cost for the product would be $5.25. In most instances adding $10-$20 to the dropship product is suggested. When a client orders your product priced at $15.25, you purchase the team from the company who will also ship to the client for you. In the end, you would have made a $10 profit with minimum work.

You can sell your products on platforms like Amazon Sellers, eBay, Esty, and Facebook market. You can also set up your website on platforms like GoDaddy, Square, or Wix.

2. Freelancing

Working freelance gigs is a great way to earn some extra income. If you have a talent or service you can offer to people at an affordable rate, your earning opportunity can be endless. Platforms like Freelancer, Upwork, and Fiverr allow users to work gigs in multiple fields such as graphic design, digital marketing, animation, and customer service.

3. Tutoring

If you are skilled in a specific subject, tutoring may be an excellent fit for you. Decide what age groups and topics you would want to teach. Platforms like Enroll allow participants as young as fifteen to become tutors.

4. Content Creation

Create your own entertaining or informative content. Try to make a mixture of content from videos, photos, and short 15-30 second promotional clips. Platforms like Youtube, Bigo, and Fanbase pay publishers based on views and content interactions. Producing unique and creative content will help expedite your growth process and earning potential.

5. Rewards Sites

Whenever you have spare time, you can make extra income on rewards sites. Platforms like Swagbucks, InstaGC, and Cash Crate allow participants 13 and older to participate in paid activities.
