The two are accused of first-degree child cruelty, according to jail records.
According to WAGA-TV, the boy’s grandmother allegedly told police that when she picked him up from daycare on July 6, she noticed he was “visibly upset.” Krystin Collier, the victim’s mother, claims that her son arrived home with apparent cuts and bruises on his body.
When Collier confronted the daycare, they informed her that surveillance footage only showed “tension” between the boy and the staff.
Police issued an arrest warrant for Glover and Coney on Friday.
According to jail records, Coney turned herself in that day but was released on Tuesday after posting a bond.
