A father in Georgia was shot dead by his toddler son after the child found a loaded handgun inside the family home.
Police said they found 25-year-old Dustin Walters critically wounded after responding to reports of a shooting at his home in Savannah on Dec. 5.
The man was rushed to a hospital suffering from a gunshot wound but later died from his injuries.
Investigators determined that Walters’ young son, who is under the age of two, fired the fatal gunshot, police revealed this week.
