A Georgia healthcare worker was found dead in her home from the Coronavirus.
According to Coweta County Coroner Richard Hawk, the 42-year-old mother was discovered deceased in her home after a welfare-check about 12 to 16 hours after her passing.
According to AJC, the woman’s child was found in the home with the body. The child is between 4 or 5-years-old.
Posthumous tests reportedly confirmed that she had COVID-19.
The woman was one of two healthcare workers that have passed from COVID-19 in Georgia. A 48-year-old woman who worked at a hospital had also died.
There are currently 2,366 cases, 69 deaths and 617 hospitalizations in Georgia, according to WSB-TV.
