A suspect in Georgia has been accused of shooting and injuring a person with a crossbow.
At around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday night, police arrived at Rockwood Ave. in Atlanta after receiving reports that a person was shot, Fox News reports. After learning the shooting happened in another location, they traveled to Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway, where they were told the incident took place.
Additionally, police were also told the suspect used a “bow and arrow” to harm their victim. According to police, the shooter drove up to the victim in a gold minivan while they were standing near a convenience store and pulled out his “crossbow.”
The suspect then allegedly shot the bow into the victim’s chest. The victim was immediately taken to a nearby hospital. Fox 5 News reports the victim wouldn’t cooperate with police but was conscious while being transported to the hospital, where he’s currently in stable condition.
There are no details on what drove the shooter to attack the victim, but the case is still being looked into.
