Christmas is near, Christmas is here!
With the jolly and festive holiday right around the corner, we here at Baller Alert wanted to make sure you all are rockin’ around the Christmas tree with some family activities! Whether you like to enjoy time in the house or feel the winter breeze outside, there are plenty of things you can choose from to enjoy.
Go Ice Skating– Head over to a nearby skating rink and enjoy one of the top winter activities there is! If you’re a pro or one who’s just falling on their behind the whole time, this activity will be sure to be one of the most fun to spend with your family.
Make a GingerBread House- This activity can be one of the most intimate activities for the holidays. Spending quality time with your loved ones while creating a house you can eat once you’re done making it! It doesn’t get any better than that.
Visit Holiday Lights- Get everybody bundled up in the car asap! Go take a nice car ride with the family and visit, in awe, the most decorated houses, twinkling in the night sky. It’s a beauty to see the creativity people come up with.
Host A Christmas Party- Whether it’s an ugly Christmas sweater party or just a party with family and friends, this activity brings people together which is what the holidays are all about! Love and joy.
Attend A Service- It’s the reason for the season! Even if you’re a believer or not, attending a service is a great way to put you in the holiday spirit.
Build a Snowman- If you have snow around you on Christmas, this is a top tier activity! Team up with your family or neighbors and build your own Frosty The Snowman.
Go Sledding/ Tubing/ Skiing- This is another activity if you are lucky enough to have snow in your area. Sliding down a snowy hill at a high speed, having some hot chocolate after sounds like an awesome way to enjoy the holiday.
Volunteer- The famous saying, “it’s better to give than to receive” comes into full effect on this holiday. Give back to those who don’t have much on this holiday or family to spend it with.
Take Family Photos- Dress up and get into the festive holiday spirit! Dress up your family in matching pjs, their best black and red outfit, or their famous ugly sweater and savor the moment. You could even send out Christmas cards with the photoshoot!
Bake Holiday Goodies- Sit back, relax, turn on a Christmas movie, and stuff your face with your favorite Christmas treats! If you have kids, they could even leave some cookies for Santa when he comes by to visit.
