Its always been speculated whether or not Jeffrey Epstein kept recordings of his celebrity friends, including Donald Trump and Bill Clinton, partaking in sexual acts with underage girls. Well, in Ira Rosen”s recent memoir, he reveals that may have just been the case.
In 2016, after acting on a hunch, Rosen decided to schedule a meeting with Ghislaine Maxwell, the former girlfriend of Epstein, who is accused of finding young girls for the convicted pedophile. Rosen tricks Maxwell into telling him about the tapes in that meeting, he writes in Ticking Clock: Behind the Scenes at 60 Minutes.
In regards to the existence of the tapes, Rosen’s intuition was like no other.
“‘I want the tapes. I know he [Epstein] was videotaping everyone, and I want the tapes of Trump with the girls,” Rosen told Maxwell, instigating a reply.
“‘I don’t know where they are,'” Maxwell answered. According to her, Epstein never shared the location of his tapes.
Rosen writes he told Maxwell to “‘ask Epstein, ‘” suggesting the country’s fate is very much in their hands.
“Trump could be elected president, and how would you feel if those tapes emerged after he was in office?” Rosen asked Maxwell.
Maxwell’s reluctance in bringing the tapes to light is explained by her wanting to protect the Democratic 2016 presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton. This meeting took place before the 2016 Presidential Election. Maxwell, then, a Hillary Clinton supporter told Rosen, “I am the daughter of a press baron. I know the way you people think. If you do one side, you must do the other. If you get the tapes on Trump, you have to do Clinton”.’
Maxwell did not want Trump in office ” but said that Hillary Clinton was comfortably ahead and there was no need for the story to come out,” Rosen said.
Former President Bill Clinton has since denied ever being involved with Epstein’s sexual misconduct, despite witnesses’ seeing him and record logs stating he has been on Epstein’s private jet to his “private sex island” at least 26 times.
Maxwell also denies being involved with any of Epstein’s sexual misconduct and having any knowledge of such behavior.
According to Daily Mail, Maxwell is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn as she awaits trial on child sex trafficking charges. Her case is set to start in July 2021.
