Gigi Hadid has been called as a potential juror on Harvey Weinstein’s criminal trial, according to CNN.
On Monday morning, Hadid was seen showing up to an NYC courthouse and was later spotted leaving.
Hadid is rumored to be interested in making a difference in this trial due to one of Weinstein’s accusers being a dear friend to Hadid, TMZ reports.
In 2017, Cara Delevingne accused the embattled Hollywood heavyweight of making an unwanted advance and asking her intimate questions regarding her sex life.
Seated merely 20 feet away from Weinstein, according to the NY Daily News, Hadid revealed to the judge that she and Weinstein had met once before. However, the 24-year-old model made it clear that she had no problem participating in the trial.
“I think I’m still able to keep an open mind to the facts,” She reassured the judge.
As of yet, there is no word on whether or not Hadid was selected to be amongst the jury.
