Back in June, Gilbert Arenas was hit with a restraining order after a woman, claiming to be Arenas’ ex, said he’d been threatening to send her explicit videos to her son.
As part of the TRO, the baller was ordered to “not communicate in person, by telephone, or text with [victim’s] son,” and to refrain from sending any “photographs or videos” to her son.
However, one month later, the order was tossed after both parties missed their hearing on the matter. But now, Arenas is firing back at the woman over her outlandish claims.
According to TMZ, Arenas has filed a lawsuit against the woman, who has since been identified as Janelle Reeves, accusing her of making up the entire scenario.
“Reeves created the false impression of supposedly having received threatening messages by making copies of various texts that she created and sent to herself,” the suit read.
Arenas said the allegations, and subsequent TRO, left him humiliated. He said it also cost him his gig at Yahoo Sports, among other issues. As a result, he’s demanding a whopping $10 million for his troubles.
