Gillie Da Kid and Wallo 267 honored with keys to the city of Philadelphia.
On Thursday, the ‘Million Dollaz Worth Of Game’ podcast hosts received keys to their hometown for their continuous philanthropic activism.
The duo shared the news to their Instagram accounts with photos of them posing next to Councilman Kenyatta Johnson and Gillie’s wife Gene.
Johnson thanked the pair for providing $4 million in grants for black-owned social service organizations and businesses.
“We appreciate your efforts and contributions to improving the quality of life for Philadelphians,” Johnson said in a clip.
For awhile, Gillie and Wallo have remained adamant on their stance for community service and social activism. If you’re not aware, the two uses their podcast platform to educate the youth of the community. The podcast invites celebrity guests to come share their personal life experiences with hopes of the information being beneficial to watchers.
In their latest effort, the two partnered with Best Buy Furniture and Danis Auto to give one lucky person a car, a host of T.V.s, and $40,000 in furniture. To qualify for the contest, participants must follow Danis Auto and Best Buy Furniture, like and tag a person in the post and reshare the post.
Wallo also felt generous on Thanksgiving and invited 15 women to join him in a shopping spree at Target. However, the plan fell through once he pulled up to the location and realized the store was closed for the holidays. Nevertheless, Wallo still gifted the women with cash to make up for the miscommunication.
