Gina Huynh, who was listed as Victim No. 3 in the federal case against Diddy and previously fell off the radar in the legal proceedings, has resurfaced with a letter to the judge supporting his latest bid for bail ahead of his October 3 sentencing.
In the newly filed legal docs obtained by TMZ, Gina shares that she’s known the mogul for years and has witnessed him not just as a superstar but as a father figure, entrepreneur, and someone capable of growth and accountability.
She acknowledges their relationship had turbulent stretches. But according to Gina, when Diddy made mistakes, he faced them and made tangible efforts to improve. By the time their romance ended, she says he carried an “energy of love, patience, and gentleness” that signaled real change.
Prosecutors and the judge cited his alleged violent conduct as grounds for keeping him detained. But Gina pushes back, saying from what she knows, “he has not been violent for many years” and that his priority has always been his role as a committed father.
Her letter said that Diddy poses no danger to her or the wider community if he’s released on bail. Gina also wrote that if freed, he’d abide by all bail conditions and return home where he’s needed emotionally and financially by his children.
