Just weeks after a judge settled the legal battle between Gloria Govan and her ex-husband, Matt Barnes, over the custody of their twins, the reality star is heading back to court to address a separate issue, bad business.
In legal docs obtained by The Blast, the former “Basketball Wives” star filed a lawsuit against a man named Duangduan Leungingkasut, accusing him of scamming her and her fiancé out of a large amount of money.
Although the actual amount remains unclear, sources tell the Blast that the couple rented a commercial property from Leungingkasut in an attempt to venture into a new business. But, after six months of paying rent for the commercial space while investing in their company, the two learned that the man was in no position to sublease the spot.
Now, the two are out of a large amount of capital, so Govan is suing for reimbursement.
