GloRilla Admits She Cried While Meeting Beyoncé: “I Really Love Her That Bad” [Video]

GloRilla might be riding high as a superstar, but she’s still just a regular fan when it comes to Queen Bey.

In the latest episode of Angel Reese’s “Unapologetically Angel” podcast, Big Glo spilled the tea about her surprise encounter with Beyoncé at Michael Rubin’s July 4th White Party this year. Prompted by Reese to dish on that iconic trio photo of Bey, Glo, and Megan Thee Stallion from that night, GloRilla jumped into her memory lane.

“Me and Meg, we had just come from the upstairs part [of the party], and we’re going to the downstairs club, so I was drunk. I’m walking, and I just feel the tap on my shoulder. I look, it was Beyoncé,” she recounted. “She was like, ‘Y’all come over here.’ I’m like, ‘Come over here, to your section?’ Her security was standing on business. They weren’t trying to let us come over there. But her family were like, ‘Nah, she said she could come.’”

Apparently, nerves kicked in as Glo stood in disbelief, followed by waterworks.

“I was just standing there like, I don’t know what the f**k to say to Beyoncé…I’m like, ‘Oh my God!’ I can’t help it — tears start coming down my face, ’cause I really love her that bad.”

“Cowboy Carter” herself showed love to GloRilla in a recent interview with GQ.  Discussing her current music playlist, Bey exclaimed her admiration for the rising stars, such as Raye, Victoria Monét, Sasha Keable, Chloe x Halle, Reneé Rapp, Doechii, and of course, the Memphis star.
