GloRilla is speaking out after a wild weekend left her facing felony drug charges—while the suspects who invaded her Georgia home are still nowhere to be found.
The Memphis rapper says her home was broken into Saturday while she was in Indianapolis, doing what she does best—performing live at the WNBA All-Star Game. But instead of focusing on the burglary, law enforcement allegedly turned their attention to marijuana they found inside her house.
In a tweet, Glo set the record straight:
“So no I wasn’t busted. My house got robbed. I wasn’t home… Long story short my house gets home invaded and I’m the only one that gets arrested.”
Here’s how it went down: Deputies responded to a burglary call early Saturday morning. According to reports, three men broke into her home and were chased off after someone inside fired a shot. GloRilla wasn’t there at the time. But while securing the scene, officers said they smelled cannabis, which led to a full search of the house.
That’s when the situation took a turn. Authorities say they discovered a “significant” amount of marijuana and another Schedule I controlled substance in GloRilla’s closet. That led to a search warrant and ultimately felony charges.
She turned herself in to Fayette County Sheriff’s Office on Monday, July 22, and was released the same day on a $22,260 bond.
Glo’s legal team isn’t staying quiet. Attorneys Drew Findling and Marissa Goldberg said the rapper is being treated unfairly. They believe the police should be focused on the break-in—not what was found afterward. They also confirmed her family members were inside during the invasion and that valuable jewelry was stolen.
“To be clear, Ms. Woods was the victim of a crime,” her lawyers said in a statement. “The priority should have been finding the suspects, not arresting her over marijuana.”

So far, there have been no arrests in connection to the robbery, and police have not issued any warrants for the intruders.
As for GloRilla, she’s back to business but making sure the public knows what really went down.
