Since GloRilla stepped on the scene, she has been faced with backlash and praise. Even though she’s continuing to climb the charts, the Memphis-born rapper recently had to defend herself yet again during a live performance.
Video
According to a now-viral video, as Glo was in the middle of putting on a show, one unknown concertgoer seemingly got too excited and threw a shoe onstage. The video captured Glo pausing her set to address the crowd and confront the suspect responsible for the shoe-throwing.
“Throw another motherf**king shoe! Throw another motherf**king shoe up here!” Glo said before telling the suspect, “Nah, who [are] they pointing at? Don’t say sorry now b**ch!”
Outside of the recent mishap, Glo’s past few months have been nothing short that amazing and monumental, from dropping her debut album “Glorious” to being named the best female rapper of the year by Billboard. She also joined Megan Thee Stallion on the U.S. leg of her Hot Girl Summer tour, which led to her gaining more confidence in her craft. This was evident as she took center stage at Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign rally in Milwaukee.
Nonetheless, GloRilla is continuing to keep her foot on our necks with her catchy tunes, memorable lyrics, and undeniable charm.
