Some die-hard Yeezy fans are on a mission to get Ye, formerly Kanye West, back to billionaire status. So much so that they launched a GoFundMe.
Following the significant decrease in Ye’s net worth after being dropped from his deal with Adidas, supporters created several fan pages, one of which was titled “Make Kanye West a Billionaire Again,” with a fundraising target of $1 billion.
It’s been reported that the fundraiser only raised $5 and has since been taken down, along with the other copycats.
Over the past few weeks, Adidas severed relations with Ye after he made several anti-Semitic remarks, joining Balenciaga, Vogue, and Gap.
It’s been reported that the once richest black man in the world is now worth just $400 million.
