“Good Morning America” staple Robin Roberts has made it official with her longtime partner, massage therapist Amber Laign.
The women finally tied the knot on Friday at an intimate ceremony in the backyard of their Connecticut home, followed by a stunning reception at the Farmington Gardens. Roberts shared several images from their magical day, one of which showed the wives in full-length white gowns.
“An intimate, magical wedding ceremony in our backyard followed by a joyous reception…ohhhh, the dancing!! We are immensely grateful to all for making it a day and a night to remember. Honeymoon, here we come!” Roberts captioned the photo of her and Laign holding bouquets as they walked through dozens of flowers.
In another flick from the wedding day, their adorable pup Lukas sported a black and white bow tie while waiting for the guests to arrive.
Roberts and Laign began dating in 2005 after friends set them up on a blind date. It wasn’t until 2013 that Roberts went public with the relationship when she came out to the world. Throughout their union, the women have endured several trials and tribulations, including both being diagnosed with breast cancer, per People. In January, Roberts revealed that she and Laign, whom she refers to as “Sweet Amber,” would absolutely wed this year after 18 years together.
It is unknown where the ladies will spend their honeymoon, but it will surely be another celebration of their unwavering love.
