A GOP candidate running for an Arizona college district’s governing board has suspended his campaign after he was found masturbating in front of a preschool.
Dubbed the “MAGA Masturbator” by Rolling Stone, Republican Randy Kaufman was arrested on Tuesday, October 4th, outside the Wirtzie’s Preschool and Child Care Center at Rio Salado College. His car was parked across three spaces, and his pants were down to his mid-thigh as he masturbated in full view of the toddlers playing outside.
When an officer approached his vehicle, he observed Kaufman with his penis in hand jerking off, seemingly while observing the children.
“I’m sorry. I f****d up. I’m really stressed,” he told the officer.
“Are you going to put that in the report?” the officer said Kaufman asked.
“Don’t you see how alarming that is?” the officer responded. “That there are children nearby, people passing on bikes and in cars where they can look and see what you are doing?”
He maintained that he was not pleasuring himself at the sight of children. Instead, he explained he was out purchasing rebar but became so overwhelmed that he felt inclined to pull over and relieve himself. Kaufman claims he had no idea what the parking lot was used for. He then tried to use his privilege to get himself out of legal trouble by name-dropping an official he knew.

“I know officer Jim Hill; he works with you guys… I’m running for the Governing Board for the colleges. I didn’t even know this was one of your sites, but now I see the signs all over the parking lot,” he said during the confrontation with officers. They noted his comments and took him into custody.
Back in May Kaufman wrote on Facebook he wanted “our children protected [from] the progressive left.”
Kaufman has been charged with public sexual indecency. However, more severe charges could be in the near future due to his proximity to the preschool.
The Maga Masturbator was campaigning to be on the Maricopa County Community College Governing Board. The panel oversees ten colleges, including the one that houses the child center he was caught at. On Tuesday, he officially dropped out of the race. Unfortunately, voting officials say it is too late to remove his name from the ballot.
