Gordon Thornton Reveals That He Granted “RHOP” Star Mia Thornton Permission To Be Intimate With Other Men Prior To Their Separation [Video]

Gordon Thornton, the estranged spouse of “Real Housewives of Potomac” star Mia Thornton, shares his perspective on their split.

According to TMZ, Gordon claims he granted Mia permission to be intimate with other men to fulfill her desires.

“I know there’s going to come a time when I probably won’t be able to satisfy all of her needs,” Gordon said.

Additionally, Gordon stated that he informed his estranged spouse, that she was free to date other people.

“What really aggravates me through all of this, is that I’d given her permission. And yet she still chooses to sneak around, chooses to lie, chooses to continually change her story about what’s going on and why she’s leaving me,” he explained.

Although Gordon may have been understanding of Mia’s needs, he says that he requested she refrain from giving him a “reason” to doubt her honesty and urged her to shield the children from it.

The former couple separated in September after being married for 11 years. They have a son named Jeremiah, and a daughter named Juliana together. Additionally, both Mia and Gordon, who tied the knot in 2012, each have one child from previous relationships.

Gordon claimed that he discovered call logs indicating conversations between Mia and her new partner occurring as late as “2 o’clock in the morning.” Since their separation, Gordon stated that Mia upgraded to a different man who has “access to funds,” which he no longer has.

“I absolutely believe that she’s leaving me because she sees an upgrade,” Gordon alleged. “My desire is to never, ever, ever be associated with her again beyond our co-parenting situation. If we end up getting back together, it will only truly be for some advantage for the kids. It wouldn’t be for love.”
