Tessica Brown, the woman who went viral for putting Gorilla Glue to sculpt her hair, is making some progress with removing the product from her hair. According to TMZ, Brown and a friend used “Goof Off,” a superglue remover, to soften her hair. It took Brown four hours, but she managed to soften her hair enough to cut off the ponytail.
Dr. Michael Obeng, a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon, has offered to remove the adhesive spray product from her hair for free, according to TMZ. On Wednesday, Brown will fly from Lousiana to Los Angeles to have the $12,500 procedure done.
Brown’s hair has been stuck in place for over a month. She has used acetone, rubbing alcohol, and has tried to shampoo her hair numerous times. All of her attempts to remove the product have been unsuccessful.
Wishing her the best of luck.
