US Government Offering Second Batch Of Free At-Home Covid-19 Test to Americans

The federal government is now offering a second batch of free at-home Covid-19 quick antigen tests for Americans.

As of January, people could order a maximum of four tests per household through Covidtests.gov.

For households that participated in that first round of test giveaways, an additional four are now available. For homes that missed the first round, up to eight tests can be ordered on the website or by calling 1-800-232-0233.

On the website, consumers can order testing by entering their name, email, and address. An order confirmation and tracking number will be sent once placed.

The US Food and Drug Administration has approved all of the tests offered, and results can be obtained in as little as half an hour.
According to the website, The United States Postal Service will continue to fulfill orders within 7-12 days.
Last week, President Joe Biden announced plans for the second batch of free rapid tests during his State of the Union address.
