Grand Jury Indicts Patrick Clark in Takeoff’s Shooting Death

A Harris County grand jury on Thursday indicted the man accused of fatally shooting Migos rapper Takeoff.

Patrick Xavier Clark, 33, was arrested and charged with murder last December, just a month after the 28-year-old rapper was shot and killed in Houston. Thursday’s indictment means a grand jury has formally charged him with murder.

Takeoff, real name Kirsnick Khari Ball, tragically lost his life during a private gathering at Houston’s 810 Billiards and Bowling on November 1, 2022. Two others were also injured.
Authorities believe the shooting occurred following a dice game and that Takeoff was an innocent bystander. The autopsy report revealed that he suffered fatal gunshot wounds to his head and torso.
