Offseason has NFL players acting up in the worst way possible. Green Bay Packers defensive end, Letroy Guion Jr, was arrested Tuesday night in Florida on felony possession of marijuana and possession of a firearm charges after being stopped by police for not driving in a single lane.
The stop took place around 11pm on the 2300 block of North Temple Avenue in Starke, FL. Police say Guion was hanging out of the driver’s window during the stop, and later became “extremely uncooperative and hostile.” During a search of his vehicle, cops found a 9 mm semi-automatic handgun, 357 grams of marijuana and $190,028.81 in cash in a black bag. Nearly $200k in cash? Does he not believe in a bank?
Investigators also say that during the search Guion kept coming towards the vehicle saying, ‘Hey man, my money is in there. Don’t let him take my money’ and at one point even rushed towards the vehicle in an attempt to grab his black bag.
All of his attempts were in vain, everything was seized during Guion’s arrest — including his vehicle.
