Memphis Grizzlies Zach Randolph has been accused of strangling a woman at a L.A. hotel.
The victim, who claims to be a model, filed a police report with LAPD Thursday claiming that Randolph strangled her and caused bruising to her neck the day before. The woman also claims to have sustained other injuries including a black eye, a sprained neck, sore ribs and bruises on her back.
Randolph is adamant the accusations are false. Randolph’s agent tells TMZ, “It’s a false police report.”
Additional details surrounding the story have not been released. Randolph is currently married to his wife of 2 years, Faune Drake. He has five children and recently participated in the NBA’s “Lean In Together” campaign which focuses on how NBA stars can help support the women in their lives.
