U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service issued a recall of thousands of raw ground chicken patty products after reports of bone pieces.
If your chicken patty product has the establishment number “EST. P-8276” printed near the USDA mark of inspection, you’ll want to immediately throw them out or return them. These items are a part of a recall involving nearly 98,000 pounds of raw ground chicken patty products. The products were produced between Aug. 16 and Sept. 29, 2021, USA Today reports.
In a press release from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service, the department said the meat products were sold to stores across the country, with some being sold in Trader Joe’s.
No one has yet to report any experience with adverse reactions from the products but, bone pieces have reportedly been found in the meat.
The items included in the real are: “Trader Joe’s Chile Lim Chicken Burgers” and “Spinach Feta Chicken Sliders.”The chicken burger lot codes include 2281, 2291, 2311, 2351, 2361, 2371, 2441, 2511, 2521, 2531, 2561, 2591, 2601, 2671, or 2721, which can be seen on the packaging. The slider lot codes to look out for are 2361 or 2631.
