Gucci Mane Agrees To Cough Up $10k a Month in Child Support; Drops Six-Figures In Back Pay

After nearly a year of legal back and forth, Gucci Mane has officially reached a settlement with his baby mama, Sheena Evans, over support for their son. In fact, according to Yahoo, the rapper has agreed to cough up $10k a month, back pay and more in the new deal.

Back in March, Evans demanded the rapper be thrown in jail over his failure to pay child support. Evans’ request came after a seven-month-long legal battle, in which she asked a judge to increase Gucci’s monthly child support payment from a 2011 judgment of $2,026.49 to $20,000 a month. In her docs, Evans said the rapper had “received a significant increase in income” and had “thrived financially” since his 2016 release from jail.

Evans also highlighted Gucci’s luxurious wedding event and asked him to cover the cost of their son’s medical expenses and caregiver, so that she could work or go to school. However, in response, Gucci denied a change in his financial status.

But now, just four months later, the two have reportedly come to an agreement that works for both parties. According to Yahoo, Gucci has agreed to pay nearly $10k a month in child support, as well as the cost of new transportation for Evans and their son. In addition to that, Gucci will also drop a six-figure payment for back child support and will be given visitation while Evans maintains primary custody.
