Gucci Mane Says He Was “Kidnapped” by Wife Keyshia Ka’Oir During Mental Breakdown [Video]

Gucci Mane is giving fans a new look into his life with the release of his second memoir, “Episodes,” accompanied by a 23-track album of the same name.

The rapper revealed in an Instagram video that the book, set to release on October 14th, dives deeply into his personal experiences, from battles with addiction to intense family challenges and moments of mental instability.

One of the most striking revelations is the story of a dramatic intervention orchestrated by his wife, Keyshia Ka’Oir.

“It talks about the time I was high as hell and got the ice cream cone tattoo. It talks about the time when I was going through an episode and my wife kidnapped me with my six bodyguards from the Porsche and had to take me to a mental hospital,” he shared.

Additionally, the book touches on a run-in he had with late friend, rapper Young Scooter,

“It talks about the time me and Scooter seen each other in the airport, and we got into it when I was going through an episode,” Guwop revealed.

Gucci Mane doesn’t shy away from discussing his upbringing and early career. He reflects on hustling in Atlanta alongside OJ Da Juiceman and his complicated relationship with his mother, who once tried to place him under a conservatorship.

“It talks about me and OJ growing up trapping. It even talks about me and my momma and our strained relationship from when she tried to get the thing, like Britney Spears got on her, my mom tried to do that to me,” he explained.

The memoir is also meant to resonate with readers facing similar struggles.

“So anybody who got family members or they self is dealing with mental health issues, you need to get this book,” Gucci Mane said.

Accompanying the book, Gucci Mane will release his 17th studio album, also titled “Episodes,” on October 17th. The album acts as a musical extension of the memoir, featuring confessional lyrics and emotional storytelling.
