Back in January, “Love and Hip Hop: Miami” star #Gunplay was hit with a lawsuit for the “harmful and destructive behavior” he allegedly displayed during his relationship with his stripper ex-girlfriend, Aneka Johnston.

In documents obtained by the @blast, Johnston claimed she dated the Florida-based rapper from 2010 to 2012, during which time he “was known to act violently” toward her and others. In fact, she said that was the main reason she ended things with him.

However, after their relationship ended, Johnston claimed Gunplay showed up to a strip club with his girlfriend, waited for her in the parking lot and head-butted her, causing bodily injury, mental anguish, pain and suffering from the incident.

“Gunplay has a long history of committing violence and domestic abuse,” Johnston’s attorney told the publication at the time. “He has made a living out of glorifying crime and harmful conduct on people, including women.”

“No amount of fame or fortune justifies Gunplay’s shameful and outrageous conduct. This lawsuit will send Gunplay a message and deter his misbehavior in the future,” the attorney continued. “We will seek punitive damages against him as allowed by Florida law.”

Since then though, the rapper has fired back with court docs of his own. In the new docs obtained by The Blast, Gunplay has asked a judge to dismiss the suit, as he has denied head-butting his ex-girlfriend. In fact, he says Johnston was the aggressor in the situation. According to the rapper, Johnston provoked him and attacked him, which forced him to defend himself.

The case is ongoing.
