Rapper Gunplay will now be limited to virtual visits with his daughter through the TalkingParents app, with court supervision.
According to TMZ, this decision follows his charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, false imprisonment, and child abuse from an altercation with his estranged wife, Vonshae Taylor-Morales.
The arrangement can only be reversed if Taylor-Morales requests custody, which appears unlikely. She has also asked for child support, with the specific amount to be determined in a future court hearing.
So far, Gunplay has missed his last three hearings on the restraining order, and if he misses the fourth, it becomes permanent, preventing him from seeing his daughter until she’s 18.
In late August, Gunplay was arrested for allegedly pointing an AK-47 at his wife and their six-month-old baby during an argument, resulting in charges.
