The wife of rapper Gunplay is shedding more light on the violent incident that took place days ago in their home.
On Thursday, Vonshae Taylor-Morales shared a lengthy Instagram post explaining the gravity of their situation. According L&HH star, she and her estranged husband had been on the rocks for months leading up to their massive fallout. In June, she sought a divorce but was persuaded by her husband to give it another chance. Instead, they tried therapy but stopped going after one session. She also slammed those who called her a liar after she called the police to report him pointing a gun at her and their child.
“If he didn’t do anything, and I’m “exaggerating,” why the hell did he reach out to a lawyer asking for a bond in the midst of all this drama? That’s an innocent person?” she wrote in part of the caption. “He in jail contacting my friends and family, trying to have me drop the charges. Now he in jail, having HIS friends talk to me and about me online. CRAZY.”

Days ago, the “Love & Hip-Hop Miami” star was jailed after Taylor accused him of pointing an AK-47 at her and their infant daughter. She claimed that his threats of violence were sparked after she asked him to turn down the television as he played video games. This supposedly infuriated the “Rollin” rapper, and things quickly took a turn for the worst. After news of his arrest spread, Taylor announced that she was filing for divorce and was granted a temporary restraining order. In her recent IG explanation, she also accused him of choking their daughter.
Gunplay, whose real name is Richard Morales Jr., has since been released on $5,000 bond and must remain on house arrest until his September 19th court day.
