HBO has released the trailer for the upcoming DMX documentary, DMX: Don’t Try to Understand. The documentary will follow a year in the life of DMX after his release from prison for tax evasion in 2019.
The film will give a closer look into the rapper’s personality and follow DMX on his It’s Dark and Hell Is Hot 20th Anniversary tour. The trailer opens up with the rapper being released from prison and practicing for upcoming shows. The documentary will feature various clips of interviews of the Ruff Ryder rapper.
The film was directed by Christopher Frierson and executive produced by Bill Simmons. It is set to debut on Thanksgiving, November 25th, on HBO. Watch the trailer below.
