Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has now added fiancé to one of his titles. Hurts recently confirmed to Essence that he is engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Bryonna Burrows.

The news broke after the couple was spotted in São Paulo, Brazil, during the Eagles’ season opener. Fans were quick to notice Burrows sporting a sparkling diamond ring, prompting speculation that was later confirmed by Essence. According to the outlet, Hurts popped the question during the offseason while the pair enjoyed a romantic vacation. Sounds like Hurts scored a major win off the field!

Hurts and Burrows met as students at the University of Alabama and have kept a low profile over the years.

The couple first made headlines in 2023 when Burrows joined Hurts on the field following the Eagles’ big win at the NFC Championship. Since then, she’s been a supportive presence at major events, including when Hurts signed his mega contract extension with the Eagles. And just last October, the two made a rare appearance at the Time NEXT gala.

Despite their growing public profile, Hurts and Burrows have kept their relationship relatively private. Burrows doesn’t appear on Hurts’ social media, and the couple rarely shares intimate details about their personal lives. However, in an interview with Essence back in May 2023, Hurts did offer a glimpse into his feelings for his now-fiancée.

“I knew a long time ago,” Hurts shared, reflecting on his deep connection with Burrows. “To this point in my life, that’s an irreplaceable feeling. I think that’s what allowed us to get to where we are now.”
