It’s 2018 and let’s face it, it doesn’t take much for the internet to label two people as “couple goals”.

But despite the trend to name anyone who had taken pictures together as a power couple, there are a few that stand out.

Here’s an ode to some of our favorite power couples. Be sure to tell us yours below.

1. Barack and Michelle Obama:

From a Chicago young love story, to the first family of the United States, The Obama’s embody what a true power couple is. Barack will forever go down in history as America’s first Black President, and it’s only right that he entered office with the most educated First Lady ever by his side. Let’s face it, we love our First Family.

2. Beyonce and Jay-Z:

Everybody say hey Mrs. Carter! Beyonce has proven herself as one of the highest selling, most iconic, entertainers to ever exist. She’s sold out stadiums worldwide while Jay-Z has upped his net worth to $900M in the last year. The two have a combined 43 Grammys. Thanks to the Carter’s we truly know what it means to dominate your field.

3. David and Victoria Beckham:

Since the duo came together in the 90’s the Beckhams have given us style and grace for decades. While Victoria transformed from Spice Girl to Fashion icon, her husband was creating his own brand in the world of soccer. On and off the field, this couple had made themselves, and their family, a staple.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

4. Will Smith and Jada Pinkett:

When you think of Hollywood elite, you can’t help but to think of Will and Jada. The two have remained one of Hollywood’s “IT” couples since most can remember. While Will has made his mark and set an impeccable standard for black actors by fighting through barriers and becoming a top paid actor, Jada has created her own brand outside of her acting career.

5. Steph and Ayesha Curry:

While they may be the youngest on the list, the Curry’s have successfully given us undeniable power couple teas. Steph has led one of the NBA’s most successful teams of this era to 3 titles in 4 years. And all the while, Ayesha, who has made a name for herself in the world of cooking, was rooting him on. The pair has won the hearts of America angels come a long way since they met at a church youth camp as kids.
