Highnote Has Officially Launched With a Space Encouraging Creators to Collaborate

Highnote wants to bring all creators together in an all-new, interactive, collaborative space.

The platform launched earlier this week with the goal of bringing together podcasters, musicians, and other creators by allowing users to team up on multiple files at once. Users will be able to record voice notes directly over a song or audio file, providing timestamped feedback and reactions. Polls can also be left on creators’ work to garner input from the public.

Users will need to upload their work to the Highnote Space and invite their team into the Space in order to work together. Think of a musician who is completing an album. Instead of emailing back and forth with producers and fellow musicians, Highnote will allow a secured space for all parties involved to work on the record in real time. For those not in the Space, the user can share their work via a private link.

Highnote co-founder and CEO Jordan Bradley said the company is providing a way to work together on various audio tasks “in a way not seen before.”

What makes Highnote even better is that the platform is entirely free to use, a welcome relief to upcoming creators accustomed to spending large amounts of money with little return. However, this will likely change in the near future. The company has many big plans, including launching a paid model known as SaaS. It is also fine-tuning “Highnote for Teams,” a more in-depth tool for larger-scale projects being put together by studios and record labels.
