On Friday, October 30th, Hillary Clinton will launch “African Americans for Hillary” in Atlanta. First, she will join Reverend Jesse L. Jackson, Sr., Reverend Frederick Haynes and a group of local and regional African American clergy at a luncheon event.
Following the luncheon, she will be joined at a grassroots event at Clark Atlanta University by former NBA player Grant Hill, Georgia House Minority Leader Stacey Abrams, Mayor Kasim Reed, and Congressman John Lewis.
The event will be emceed by media maven and entrepreneur Karen Civil, and the national anthem will be sung by seven-time Grammy-nominated American R&B singer and songwriter Kelly Price.
During the event, Clinton will lay out how she’s fighting to address issues important to the African American community.
