The Holocaust Museum LA is being sent several threats after inviting Kanye “Ye” West for a private tour amidst his antisemitic remarks over the past few weeks.
West, 45, has been getting slammed back and forth for continuously sharing harmful and offensive comments about the Jewish community. His words have gotten him dropped from several partnerships, including his longtime deal with Adidas, which also knocked him off Forbes’ billionaire list and out of status.
In an effort to educate West on his background knowledge of the Jewish community, the Holocaust Museum LA invited the businessman for a private tour.
“Words matter and have consequences Ye,” the Museum said. “We urge you to come visit us at Holocaust Museum LA to understand just how words can incite horrific violence and genocides. The Holocaust started with only words that sadly begat stereotypes, racial and religious tropes, and blaming others and led to the murder of six million Jews. At Holocaust Museum LA it is our mission to commemorate those who were murdered, educate on the Holocaust and all genocides, including the genocide perpetrated against the Armenian People (of which your children would be included), and inspire a more dignified and humane world.”
Since then, however, the museum has “received a tremendous amount of social media messages and comments… some filled with hate, threats, and vitriol” over the invitation.
“To those who are using this as a platform to continue to spew hate we have a message for you,” the museum continued. “You will not discourage us from our mission to share the lessons of the Holocaust to commemorate those who were murdered, to educate all who will listen and learn.”

The Los Angeles and Beverly Hills police departments said they are now investigating hateful antisemitic flyers posted throughout Beverly Hills. Some flyers have also been seen on the 405 freeway and off Sunset Boulevard.
“Antisemitic flyers thrown on our streets again, Banners on the 405 Freeway, Banners covering up Billboards, Kayne West, Vans driving with antisemitism and racist plastered slogans, Schools having Jew free zones. ENOUGH HATE meant 2 silence us. I will speak LOUDER #Antisemitism,” tweeted Beverly Hills Mayor Lili Bosse, the daughter of Holocaust survivors.
