Although the Cash Money reunion at Essence Fest may not have gone as expected, it reminded fans who the Hot Boys were as a collective and individuals.
Over the weekend, Juvenile and BG joined Birdman and Mannie Fresh on stage in New Orleans for an epic reunion. Due to an alleged dispute surrounding Turk not being invited to the performance, Lil Wayne did a set of his biggest hits separately. While some fans have expressed their disappointment that all four Hot Boys members were not on stage together, there is no doubt that the music has stood the test of time.
@toocute504 I AM SO SAD! WE WAITED SO LONG FOR THIS! BABY WTF!! . . #nola #neworleans #cashmoney #essence
BG performed several well-known records, such as “All On U” and “Heart of Tha Streetz.” Juvenile couldn’t resist his hit singles, “400 Degrees” and “Back That Azz Up,” alongside Mannie Fresh. When Wayne hit the stage solo, he performed hits “A Milli” and “Love Me.”
The Cash Money reunion would NOT be complete without the presence of:
Tunechi,
Lil' Wayne,
Lil' Weezy,
Birdman Jr.,
Weezy F. Baby.🗣️PLEASE SAY THE BABY
