Tuesday, Paris Hilton, the hotel heiress and reality TV icon, debuted her own Metaverse business on Roblox.
Hilton currently makes $1 million a night as a DJ and party host in China, Dubai, and Ibiza, thanks to her celebrity status.
Her latest venture is a virtual island on the online gaming platform Roblox where she channeled all of her favorite islands – including Ibiza.
Recently, the hotel heiress has been creating her own virtual island based on numerous locales – including Ibiza – on the online game platform.
In “Paris World,” Hilton has created a digital replica of her Beverly Hills home on the island, as well as a special area based on her carnival-themed wedding she had with husband Carter Reum in 2021.
This coming weekend, Hilton plans to throw her very own New Year’s Eve bash in Paris World.
“For me, the metaverse is somewhere that you can do everything you can do in real life in the digital world,” said Hilton, who worked to recreate aspects of her glittering, globe-trotting life for fans. “Not everybody gets to experience that, so that’s what we’ve been working together on over the past year — giving them all my inspirations of what I want in that world.”
Paris World would charge users for products such as apparel and virtual experiences, similar to how other virtual environments in the metaverse do.
