Neighbors are upset over the crowds of tourists descending on the Springfield, MO home where Gypsy Rose Blanchard and her ex-boyfriend murdered her mother, Dee Dee.
The recent prison release of Blanchard has reignited interest in the case. A neighbor named Tonia told TMZ that flocks of people with out-of-state license plates are stopping by the home to take pics of it.
The house isn’t easy to find since it has been repainted from pink to blue since the murder, and the wheelchair ramp Gypsy used has been removed.
Neighbors say tourists have resorted to asking them for directions.
Thomas Pengilly, another neighbor, says all the traffic has been stressful, and he feels some people might have bad intentions and feels the home should’ve been torn down.
He wants tourists to find other things to do in life than relive someone’s trauma and pain.
