We live in a world where people are really creating the life they want to live. As society continues to break free from the traditional “9-5” culture, people are becoming more and more creative when it comes to what they call work.
Since Covid, many had an epiphany and learned life wasn’t what it seemed. Those jobs that “couldn’t” be remote became remote. But perhaps most importantly, employees ruled the markets by demanding benefits that included more asynchronous ways of working.
The cultural shift has opened doors for people to live on their own terms, like traveling and working. There are several ways to travel the world while also sticking to your craft. Take a look at our list.
Freelance your skills. Thanks to freelance platforms like Upwork and Fiverr, people can offer their skills to clients worldwide and get paid for them (website developers, content writers, logo creators, etc.).So as long as you have the tools you need, you can do the work from any location.
Teach your native language. Going somewhere to teach a language you’re fluent in is a way to make money. There is a high demand for English, which is a language sought by many individuals and schools. It’s known as language tuition.
Perform your talent. Look for a gig requiring travel and performers to come on board. If you know how to juggle, maybe you a traveling circus, or if you dance, look for shows that need backup dancers. If that fails, many places allow street performers to share their talent and entertain.
Sell your goods and services. If you’re good with your hands and make arts and crafts, you can travel the world to sell your goods at local fairs or events. Or, if you’re a yoga instructor or massage therapist, you may want to see what hotels and resorts are hiring across the globe.
As long as you got hustle, the sky is the limit.
