Howard Stern, who is never afraid to say what’s on his mind, took to his Sirius XM show on Tuesday to reveal that he hates Donald Trump’s “Make American Great Again” voters… and Donald Trump does too.
On his self-titled show, Stern claimed: “the oddity in all of this is the people Trump despises most, love him the most.”
Stern went on to say that Trump prefers to rub elbows with celebrities and the wealthy, not his average Joe voting base. “The people who are voting for Trump, for the most part … He wouldn’t even let them in a f*cking hotel. He’d be disgusted by them. Go to Mar-a-Lago, see if there’s any people who look like you. I’m talking to you in the audience,” Stern said.
Deadline reported that Stern offered up some advice for his friend: “I do think it would be extremely patriotic of Donald to say, ‘I’m in over my head, and I don’t want to be president anymore.’ It’d be so patriotic that I’d hug him, and then I’d go back to Mar-a-Lago and have a meal with him and feel good about him because it would be such an easy thing to do.”
Stern and Trump are longtime friends. Trump has been a guest on Stern’s show multiple times and frequently called into the show before being elected president. “I don’t hate Donald,” Stern said on Tuesday. “I hate you for voting for him…”
