We recently reported that rapper Hurricane Chris wasn’t too happy with 50 Cent and his choice of artists for his Humor & Harmony festival in Shreveport, Louisiana. In his rant, Chris called out 50 for not including Louisiana artists in the concert lineup and accused him of using the state for its cheap resources.
“You threw a motherf*cking concert in Louisiana and didn’t book no Louisiana legends and put no bankroll in any Louisiana legends’ pockets but you paid the police half a million dollars. What type of b*tch-a** sh*t is that?” Chris said in an Instagram post. “N*gga, you ain’t f*ckin’ with my city; you taking advantage of my city ’cause sh*t cheap and sh*t costs way less than where you from. And y’all stupid, slow muthaf*ckas so crazy that y’all gon’ let this n*gga come down here and not show no love to Louisiana.”
Of course, 50 didn’t take long to respond to Chris in his typical trolling fashion, mocking his rap career and pointing out that two Louisiana natives, Master P, and Fredo Bang, were, in fact, included in the lineup.
“Hurricane Flex boy ya shit is wack, the f*ck you think you @FredoBang ya sh*t gets no play in my ride. LOL,” he said.
In another post, 50 followed up with his statement saying, “Oh no you not gonna play that 1 song you got, Bay Bay just went on stage wit Master P. LOL.”
Later, Chris fired back at 50, labeling him a “culture vulture” and claiming he was ignorant about the city of Shreveport.
“F*ck you, you big dummy. You just proved my point. You don’t know sh*t about the city,” he snapped. “Shreveport, the n*gga just said I got one song. I got a whole catalog of sh*t. Me and Boosie got a mixtape, I’ve been dropping music in Shreveport since ’05, I’ve been touring in Louisiana and all these Texas areas since ’05. Dumb-a** n*gga don’t know nothing about our culture. You just a culture vulture-a** n*gga that’s seen some sh*t for sale and you wanted to come profit.”

“@50cent Lack of knowledge is what make u an opportunist ask bay bay why he talked me a kid into signing for 30 k maybe I’d have more number ones if your rat friends didn’t play me as a kid and I got a heavy catalogue that they know word for word incmy city but u did no research on our history u saw a chance to win for yourself,” he captioned his post.
Nevertheless, it’s unclear if Hurricane Chris and 50 Cent have resolved their issues or if the “Power” creator will consider the Louisiana rapper’s suggestion.
