Ice Cube is shutting down rumors of doing his people wrong.
The N.W.A. rapper responded to critics on Twitter after Faizon Love said he only made $2,500 from the movie “Friday.”
He responds, “I didn’t rob no f*** body. The 1995 Friday movie cost $2.3m to make. Shot it in 20 days…”
I didn’t rob no fuckin body. The 1995 Friday movie cost $2.3m to make. Shot it in 20 days. Fazion worked 1 day, maybe 2. All the actors got paid scale to do the movie. They could’ve simple said “No” but they didn’t. So miss me with that shit… https://t.co/2K1dUFZ489

Faizon Love will always be known as “Big Worm” in movie Friday. However, it was noticeable that he was absent in sequels Next Friday and Friday After Next. Love opened up about his decision to not return after his low pay from the first movie.
He tells Comedy Hype, “See, it wasn’t really about the money then.” He then broke down the scale when it came to the commission. Apparently, in Next Friday, they offered him double the check which made $5k. He says it just wasn’t enough and wasn’t “iconic.”
“It wasn’t iconic when we did it.” He admits if Last Friday was in the works he would be down to do it but with “last” check money. He says, “If Cube said, ‘Faizon, there’s no money. I need you to do this.’ I would have to do it on GP because it was that character that brought me into the game heavy.”
Friday launched Love’s career. After not reprising his role as Big Worm, the actor went on to get receive a $100k paycheck for his role in The Replacements.
