As excitement builds for Super Bowl LX, the Trump administration is sending a message that federal immigration officers will be in attendance, all because Bad Bunny is headlining the halftime show.
Corey Lewandowski, a senior adviser at the Department of Homeland Security, went on “The Benny Show” this week to issue a stark warning.
“There is nowhere you can provide safe haven to people who are in this country illegally. Not the Super Bowl and nowhere else,” he said.
Lewandowski didn’t mince words, saying ICE agents will be present to “find” and “apprehend” undocumented immigrants at the event.
“That is a very real situation under this administration, which is completely contrary to how it used to be,” he added.
Bad Bunny’s fans were thrilled by the NFL’s announcement, but the artist himself has expressed serious concerns in the past.
“F**king ICE could be outside [my concert],” he said last month, revealing that fears of immigration enforcement were why he hesitated to tour the U.S.
Super Bowl LX is set for February 8, 2026, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
