Ice-T Arrested For Evading George Washington Bridge Toll In New McLaren

On Wednesday morning, Ice T was arrested for toll evasion after he ran through the prepay toll heading into New York City.

According to TMZ, the rapper-turned-actor was driving his brand new McLaren sports car through the E-ZPass lane on the New Jersey side, approaching the George Washington Bridge. Unbeknownst to him, his prepaid E-ZPass failed to register with the transmitter, which prompted police to pull him over.

But, to make matters worse, the McLaren was not registered, so officials arrested him for evading the toll and gave him a ticket for the unregistered car.

According to Ice-T though, the entire incident was just a misunderstanding. He says he simply forgot to put his E-ZPass in his new car. As a result, the actor was released and went straight to work on the set of “Law & Order: SVU.”
