In the wake of Young Dolph’s fatal shooting, Ice-T says that being a rapper is one of the most dangerous jobs.
On Thursday, the actor and MC took to Twitter to express his thoughts on the shocking death of the Memphis superstar.
“ICE COLD Fact: When I was coming up being a Drug Dealer was the most dangerous occupation. Now it seems like being a Rapper is. Smh. No cap,” he said in a now-deleted tweet. The 63-year-old also shared a viral clip of Boosie explaining why many rappers are killed in their hometowns.
Ice-T’s sentiments are not uncommon. Last year, Fabolous also expressed that being a rapper was one of the world’s most dangerous occupations after news circulated of Miami artist Zoey Dollaz being shot multiple times. Meek Mill and Jim Jones have shared similar outlooks, noting how often rappers are violently targeted.
