Shortly after Soulja Boy claimed to be the first rapper to purchase his jewelry from Icebox, the company revealed that Soulja owes them money.
Over the weekend, Soulja tweeted a clip of him shopping in the Icebox store years ago with the caption, “I was the first rapper at Icebox.” The tweet quickly took off, with several media outlets picking it up. However, Icebox not only disagreed with Soulja’s claim, but they also say he still owes them money for bling he copped and never paid for.

A rep for the popular diamond store told TMZ that there is still an unresolved lawsuit against the rapper that he has allegedly been dodging for a while.
Back in 2013, Icebox sued Soulja for a $60,000 unpaid jewelry tab. The jeweler claims that the debt was around $200,000 at one point. Eight years later, Icebox says that they are still waiting to be paid the rest of the money.
The now 30-year-old slammed the store’s allegations. He told TMZ that he made $700,000 last week and has more money than the modest $10,000 Icebox claims he has. The “Crank That” rapper says that he spoke with Icebox directly and was told that he no longer owes them, though it is unclear how or if the matter was resolved.
