By now, most of us are familiar with the recent feud that occurred between Drake and Pusha T. However, what many people may not have known, is that Kanye West allegedly played in an intricate role in introducing Drake’s child to the world via Pusha.
During an interview with Rolling Stone multiple producers who worked with Drake on his new “Scorpion” album, spilled the tea about how it all went down.

Malik Yusuf, who worked closely with Kanye West during his recent time in Wyoming, says Drake played his record “March 14th” for Kanye early on. Yes, the record where Drake shares the news of his son. This is allegedly how Kanye received the information regarding Drakes son. He got it directly from the horse’s mouth during a private listening.

“You gotta be careful how you move, I think,” Yusuf said. “Not I think, I know: You gotta be careful how you move, what you say to people, what gets out, and the whole nine [yards].”

According to producer T-Minus, although he helped to create the beat of the song, the actual verses were kept a secret from virtually everyone.

“It was something private; it was supposed to be kept secure,” Minus said. “The information got out and I’m assuming that’s how Push knew [about the child].”

Minus and Yusuf haven’t been the only ones to put two and two together and realize just how Pusha got the news of Drake’s son. Joe Budden also alluded to this theory on his podcast this week. Budden believes that Kanye’s entire rollout for his G.O.O.D Music camp was centered around Drake’s big secret.

I think that Drake probably let Kanye hear a good amount of what he was working on because that’s what artists do. I think that this is while his June date is announced. He never said June-what, he always just said ‘June,’” Joe said. “I think that everything Kanye has done in the past month with that bulls**t was totally centered around whatever information he got from Drake before he departed,” Budden shared. “I think when Drake left the second time, that’s when a diss record came out — Drake’s ‘Duppy Freestyle.’”

Although the information hasn’t been confirmed by Kanye or Drake (and likely never will be), the pieces to the puzzle are there.
